"Physical self-awareness is the first step in releasing the tyranny of the past"

My Philosophy

Tension, aches and and pains can be powerful signals from our body. These physical experiences can notify us when we are exercising incorrectly, when our habits are no longer beneficial, or when our nervous system is tapped out and needing external support. Attuned bodywork is a vital way to receive support when our foam rolling and stretching routine just isn't cutting it. Safe and intuitive touch can also be a wonderful way to release long-held emotions and memories that are stored in our bodies. My trauma-informed style of bodywork can not only ease the tension in sore muscles but also provide the environment for your body to rest and let go of things you might not be able to let go of on your own.

With over 15 years of experience and dedication to understanding the mind, body and soul, I use both scientific understanding and intuition to deliver a massage that is both nourishing and effective in bringing you relief.

"Charlotte intuitively finds her flow with your energy and works from there for the most effective massage that your mind, body, and soul all benefit from. If you are looking for a massage with an elevated aspect, look no further. She is so thorough and aware of what you are in need of even if you are not sure in the moment. Such a treat to be able to let go and just relax in her care. Cannot recommend her enough!"

i'm glad you're here

Hi, I'm Charlotte Inez, a licensed massage therapist practicing in Boulder, Colorado.

I absolutely love what I do. Simply put, I get to help people feel good in their body. Whether that is after a grueling CrossFit workout, a long backpacking trip where they slept on a deflated mattress, getting over a cold, or an old recurring injury, it is an honor to work with you.

--------

I'm also a firm believer that the body is not just a bundle of muscles, ligaments, tendons, organs, and nerves. It is a beautiful, intricate system that is always communicating, adjusting, and (attempting) healing. This astounding communication system that connects our brain to our bodies sometimes can get blocked or go haywire as a result of past experiences or trauma. This often leaves us with unexplained aches and pains that, no matter what we do, just won't resolve. And that is where the magic of my style of intuitive, trauma-informed bodywork lies.

....

My background brings in different lenses through which I approach bodywork. My early career was in physical fitness - personal training and owning a CrossFit gym on Kauai (shout out CrossFit Kapaa!)

After selling my gym, I moved to Colorado to pursue my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology.

After school, I knew I needed to get back to working with my hands and with the physical body. I wanted to combine my studies of the mind with my understanding of the body. Enter: massage therapy school.

Now, with 15+ years of learning different ways of healing physical, mental, and emotional woes, I have found my calling of therapeutic bodywork, helping individuals find their innate ability to heal themselves on deep levels.
